We are pressing out the final bits from an amazing hide and these last few valet trays may have markings from the tannery, variation in leather thickness more than normal and a few random numbers may exist. All of them are different and it is a guess which one you get. This is end of the batch fun.
We used 12-13 oz tanned English Bridle leather for our hand pressed valet trays. All of our hand carved items are limited runs because the wood we etched has a limited capacity to be used wet forming and pressing on leather before it disintegrates. These particular valet trays are end of batch with possible marks from the hides and sometimes letters.
The trays measure about 9" by 9" at the edges or widest part and the inside square measures about 7" by 7". The sit approximately 2" tall.
A great place to store keys, wallets and change when you return home or travel.
We are using a 12-13 oz brown tanned leather with a hint of cordovan. This specialty hide is from the US and sent to Mexico's world renown Chahin Tannery.

English Bridle leather is vegetable tanned cowhide/steerhide that is made from the highest quality English animals and products dyed in drums. This is the absolute best leather we would consider for hand pressed leather. This is top level while these are then sides and random final pieces of the batch.
We hand carved on wood repurposed from an old table at the Outpost. Then we pressed the wood block on leather coasters we also hand pressed out. These are entirely made from scratch in our cabin.
